In his video “A Vision of Students Today” by Michael Wesch and his students explain that technology distracts people from learning. The students used signs to describe their use of technology. People bring their laptops to class not just to do their work but also to play around on websites. Students are multi tasking so they can have fun as well as doing their work. Also today’s technology is a constant distraction to us students. One student said “I will read 8 books this year and 3200 websites.” In other words technology is a large distraction to us as students because we would rather have fun.
